Adjustments to text size will need to be made to accommodate longer names. Different sizes are available below which makes this tag perfect for both dogs and cats. Wooden tags aren't completely silent but are much quieter than more common metal tags. I love that these are unique and reflect pets' personalities better than standard engraved tags you find at the store. These tags are perfectly durable when used correctly (just hanging from a ring) but take care when switching your tag out, making sure not to apply too much pressure to the wood with the ring.

Can collars be made in 1” width instead of 1.5”? / Can I order a 1” wide collar in the martingale style? / Can I get a custom width?
It depends but if the collar you are interested in is available with a printed name you are good to go. If the design spans the full 1.5” width (excluding collars with names) it likely can not be made in 1”. / I only offer martingales in the 1.5” or 2" width. / The widths I offer are 3/8”, 1”, 1.5" and 2”.
Can I order a matching leash?
I do not make leashes at this time.
Can I add a name/number to a style without customization available?
Definitely; however to preserve the design all names and numbers will need to be added via the patch that can be found in the “Upgrades” section.
Can I order a color that is not on your site?
Definitely. It helps me a lot if you are descriptive with the shade (ex. ‘Bubblegum pink’ as opposed to ‘pink’). I have most colors on hand so you are welcome to place your order with a note but I do ask that you also follow up with a message so I can confirm right away that your color is available. For custom colors I may need to use my discretion on which color ink to print in.
Can collars be made smaller in length than what is available?
Yes but it is best to get approval before ordering for lengths shorter than 14” if selecting a style with a custom printed name. I will need to know the exact neck measurement, how many letters are in the name, and if you prefer a buckle or martingale style.
Can some of the info for my pet tag be added on the back?
I only offer designs on the front of the tag unless otherwise stated in the listing.
What is my order status/when will it ship?
As soon as your order is placed I get to work creating it just for you. Sometimes this process can take up to three weeks but we think it’s worth the wait! Your confirmation email will have more information about when to expect your package and you will receive a tracking number as soon as it flies the coop.
I need my order sooner, can you send it out in less time?
Out of respect for customers that have already been waiting I do not bump orders up; I create everything in the order it is received. Many packages do ship well before the expected date but I always quote up to three weeks so I can make sure everything is perfect before it heads out.

I ended up changing my mind and got the Buffalo tag after I had ordered this one. The seller also responded fast when I changed my mind and made the switch no problem. The tag is light weight and I love how it does not jingle! Really cute. Shipping took awhile but was a non issue considering it’s a small shop made with love. I got the nicest little booklet about origin of Hiss + Howl support them over and over again.
